About

Queen Davina

One Cornish Rex with very big ears and a gold crown, painted ten ways: Tudor court, Klimt gold, Egyptian tomb wall, Mughal miniature and more. Printed in the UK on museum-grade paper.

Davina is a Cornish Rex. Her coat is so short she looks almost bare, she has a blue-grey cap over her head and ears, apricot patches along her back and a white chest and paws. Her ears are enormous.

These are portraits of her as a queen. Each collection takes one tradition of royal painting and puts her in it: panel portraits from Henry VIII's court, gold leaf from 1900s Vienna, the flat greens and pearls of a Mughal album page, a stained-glass window, a Japanese woodblock.

Every picture is printed to order in the UK on archival paper and posted flat or rolled in a tube, depending on the size.
